Wild Harvest East Cape UMF Manuka Honey has been selected for its UMF activity and unique distinctive flavor. It is presented as a smooth finely crystalline honey and offered in four grades UMF5+, UMF10+, UMF15+ and UMF20+.
UMF 5+
UMF5+ Active Manuka Honey can be enjoyed as a spread, used in cooking or as a sweetener for herbal teas and other drinks. It has been tested and certified to have the special antibacterial activity (UMF) greater than 5.
UMF10+
UMF10+ Active Manuka Honey can be enjoyed as a spread as a sweetener for herbal teas and other drinks or taken daily to help promote general good health. It has been tested and certified to have the special antibacterial activity (UMF) greater than 10.
UMF15+
UMF15+ Active Manuka Honey is selected for its high levels of non–peroxide activity (UMF>15). It can be taken to help soothe sore throats and indigestion and or take a teaspoon two or three times daily before meals to help promote general good health. It can also be used externally on the skin.
UMF20+
UMF20+ Active Manuka Honey is specifically selected for its high levels of non-peroxide activity (>20). Activity of this level is only found in a very small portion of Manuka Honey. This very special honey can be taken to help soothe sore throats and indigestion and taken two or three times daily before meals to help support the bodies own immunesystem. It can also be externally used on the skin.
